Georgian/Napoléon I Imperial Topaz w/ Rosecut Halo 18ct Yellow Gold

This incredible ring is one of the best examples I've had the privilege of holding in my hands. Centered is a bright and delightfully peachy imperial topaz set in 18ct yellow gold with a foiled and closed back setting. Surrounding the topaz is a halo of ten rose cut diamonds all set into silver also in a closed and foiled back. The shoulders are decorated in a floral spray as though to be a leafed stem supporting a flowers head, also in 18ct yellow gold. Dating to approximately 1810 it is firmly within the Georgian Era and the Napoléon I (Bonaparte) Era. The design and styling is very much in line with both English and French pieces of this time. I suspect this ring was sized up at some point in its past and while it does not currently boast any hallmarks, they were likely lost to history for that reson.
