19th Century Austrian Rose Cut Diamond Navette Cluster Ring 18ct Yellow Gold

Have you ever wanted a diamond navette ring but wished it were more well balanced on the finger? Or perhaps a diamond cluster that was a bit elongated for more overall presence? Well look no further! This ring has it all.

19th Century? Check. Rose Cut diamonds? Check. 18ct Yellow Gold? Check. Double-split shank for balance? CHECK. Truly a drool worthy piece to add to any heirloom jewellery collection.

This incredible ring is comprised of thirteen (13) closed and foil backed rose cut diamonds on the head with eight (8) additional close backed rose cut diamonds on the shoulders. The best way to describe the center stone is to liken it to a cushion/oval hybrid, but rose cut. Honestly, it's enchanting. The way all light, but especially sunlight, dances within the stone is blinding (in only the best of ways).

You will never be disappointed when choosing to put this ring on, whether it be for a special occasion, or a day lounging in your pajamas.

There is a number engraved inside the shank, 51331, this was likely a catalogue number for a pawn shop. Any competent jeweler should be able to buff/polish it out without compromising the hallmarks or existing patina (if you're like me and prefer a piece retains its age).

Principle Diamond: *Approximately 0.9 carats

Secondary Diamonds: Approximately 1.1 carats

Markings: Marks for Vienna Austria, 1867-1872, and 18ct gold

Condition: In excellent antique condition - there are a few flea bites on a few of the diamonds, and some of the tips could be reinforce, however, none of the stones are loose.
