Early Art Deco Ring Presentation Box

$315.00

1 exemplaire en stock

This green-on-green waxed canvas ring box is the epitome of charm that we saw as the Edwardian Era transitioned into Art Deco. Here you'll find two different patterns in the toolings, one on the lid and the other going around the sides of the box on both the top and bottom. The interior of the box features two new shades of green-on-green, again with embossed and tooled patterning. The velvet ring pad shows some discoloration due to age/use and the lid is lined in a pale yellow silk featuring it's original shop name and location. On the exterior the box has a push button closure, box closes with a tight snap. Box is stamped on the bottom for having been made in Germany.

Wendel's has been in Lancaster since 1906 and is still open today.
