Antique Rose Cut Diamond 7-Stone Half Hoop Ring "Naeva"

Have you ever looked at something and you could feel your heart, your soul, your entire body and essence being pulled into and towards it? That's what antique stones do to me. I've learned that magical draw is what captivates most everyone when they discover old cut stones for the first time and it's that very same magic that holds these stones at the top of so many favorite lists.

These rose cut diamonds are no different. Their large, almost pool of water like appearance, slighty asymmetrical proportions, tall puffy crowns, each and every facet glinting with a new color of the rainbow immediately embraces you in a warm hug of awe and joy. The uniqueness of each rose cut diamond is what makes these stones surpass the definition of perfection. 

Seven beautiful rose cut diamonds are set in a cut down pinched collet within 18ct gold. The simple shank adds to its comfort as its thicker than your standard rings and rounded to perfection (if I do say so myself). The ring is currently a US size 6.25, and while sizable, I wouldn't recommend sizing down much beyond a 5.75 given the width of the stones across the finger. If anything, for a sizing down, I would recommend having a sizing band affixed within the shank, or using sizing beads. Either option should be doable with your local jeweler.

The diamonds have a calculated and estimated (as they were not removed from their setting) to be a minimum of 2.69cts. All are eye clean or better save for one diamond that has a large fracture. I do no intend to replace the stone as its the history or pieces that enhance their charm for me, but this wouldn't be difficult for you to have replaced should you prefer a more flawless appearance.
