Returns/Refunds

Please contact us within TWO (2) days of delivery if you would like to return your purchase for any reason. The item must be shipped back, at your cost, in its original condition, with packaging and contents, fully insured, and with adult signature required within 24-hours of a return agreement. Returns initiated after these time periods will not be accepted.

An item, or items, may be returned for refund only after having been delivered. Items that are refused delivery, failed to be received from the courier, or returned for failure to pay import duties/taxes, will not be refunded. If an item is returned to us for the above reasons, I will reach out to arrange for reshipment, at your cost. If there is no communication for ten (10) days the item will be returned to stock and the payment forfeited.

Returns must be sent fully insured with trackable delivery and signature confirmation. Please be sure to provide this information. Items that get lost or damaged in transit cannot, and will not, be refunded.

Once the item is received by us and it is determined that the item is unaltered and in its original condition, a refund will be issued less applicable costs, sales taxes (CA residents only), and fees. 

Due to payment processor policy changes that went into effect in both 2019 and 2020 I will no longer refund payment processing fees for any returned merchandise. Therefore, I now have to charge a processing fee on all returned orders (5% domestic and 6.5% international).

Original shipping costs are not refundable.

A 10% restocking fee will apply to all returned merchandise, unless an item is returned for reasons of proven gross misrepresentation, in which case a full 100% refund will be issued.

Sample Refund:

An item was purchased for $1,500.00 within the US and is approved for refund.

  • assume shipping was $25.00

  • 5% processing fees $75.00

  • 10% resctocking fee $150.00

The amount refunded will be: $1,250.00

An item was purchased for $1,500.00 outside of the US and is approved for refund.

  • assume shipping was $25.00

  • 6.5% processing fees $97.50

  • 10% resctocking fee $150.00

The amount refunded will be: $1,227.50

I do not issue merchandise credits, partial refunds, or post-sale discounts.

Products that are on sale, manually discounted, purchased with a coupon, and/or that have been altered in any way are non-returnable, no exceptions.

PARTIAL.LY LAYAWAY AND AFFIRM PAYMENT PLAN ITEMS ARE NON-RETURNABLE, REFUNDABLE, OR TRANSFERRABLE. THEY ARE FINAL SALE ITEMS.

Age Related Disclosure

By purchasing an item from my store you understand that it is a vintage or antique item and that it has been worn/used (not new - unless specifically stated within the listing) for an extended period of time. As such it will have age comensurate wear including but not limited to things such as; light wear and surface abrasions or chips to gemstones, shank thinning, chain bite to a bale, worn prongs/tips, missing velvet, torn/split/shattered silk, etc., all of which and more may not be disclosed on my listing. Aside from major flaws or recommended maintence upon receipt, I do not disclose normal wear and tear on items.

I do my best to disclose any issues that may be present in a piece, to the best of my ability, but please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or for additional photos. 

Shipping

All packages are shipped with insurance for the full list price of the item (insurance excludes taxes, shipping, etc.). Items listed for $5,000.00 and below are mailed via DHL, FedEx, or USPS. Items above that threshold will be shipped via FedEx within the US and via FedEx or DHL internationally as deemed necessary. This is solely to ensure the safety of the item being shipped.

In addition, any location that would be in violation of any U.S. economic or trade sanctions including OFAC Restricted Countries. For shipments to Russian and other Commonwealth of Independent States countries (includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) coverage ceases upon touchdown of the aircraft at the airport of destination or upon discharge from the overseas vessel at the destination discharge port. This means that if a package is scanned into these countries, coverage ceases.

Import Duties

The purchaser is responsible to pay all customs fees associated with the item being shipped. Please consult your local post office for more information regarding specific fees/tariffs you may need to pay when receiving your item. If a package is not retrieved because of refusal to pay customs charges, NO refunds will be granted. All items will be shipped and declared with the full value stated. No exceptions.

Please consider all of the information on this page and website before making your first purchase, as any payment made will mean you are agreeing to and accepting of all terms.

Ring Sizing

Ring sizing services are offered at an additional cost of $95+ depending on the scale and materials of request.  If sizing has been requested the time frame for shipping will be post poned until the job has been completed. Please contact us prior to purchasing if you wish to have the ring sized and I will add the price to the listing. Keep in mind that if an item is sized for you, it will have been altered and is therefore considered as final sale.

In this scenario there will be no returns/exchanges accepted for any reason.

Recommendations

I would like to remind everyone who is considering owning their very own piece of vintage or antique jewellery that the jewellery is quite old; often far older than 100 years . Thus, care must be taken when wearing and owing your new-to-you piece(s). I suggest never wearing the piece 24/7 and removing the item when you sleep or are engaged in an activity that may cause damage to your item.  I also strongly suggest that you have annual maintenance done on your item to ensure no stones are missing or loose, that the ring shank/bale/hinge/etc. is durable enough to continue your desired level of wear, and that there are no potential critical failures within your piece. This is, of course, all in hopes of your being able to mitigate the potential for loss or irreversible damage.

Additionally, I would like to remind you that a majority of the items within my shop were not originally made with the intention of daily use/wear, meaning that greater care should be taken if you intend to do so.
