Art Nouveau Sapphire and Diamond Ring

Is blue your favorite color? Your partners? A loved ones? Blue is widely regarded as the most popular favorite color. When you think of the color, what is it you imagine? What do you feel?

For me, when I see the color blue I immediately think of the ocean. The calmness, the depth, the soul reaching serenity of it. This sapphire elicits the same response. I'm not sure if it's due to the depth of the stone, where the facets pull your eye in, or if it's that vibrant hue that manages to be both electric and rich at the same time, but I can assure you that you won't have to worry about falling out of love with a sapphire like this one.

The sapphire is accompanied by a certificate from the Australia's GSL (Gem Studies Laboratory). It is indicated that there is no evidence of heat treatment, contains unaltered natural inclusions, and originates from Ceylon. The stone was graded while still mounted within this setting and was etimated to measure 11.00 x 10.30 x 8.52mm for an approximate carat weigh of 6.68cts. There are also six small OMC (old mine cut) diamonds that adorn the halo of the sapphire with an estimated weight of 0.3cts.
